TEHRAN – Two Iranian films won awards at the Casa Asia Film Festival (CAFF), which was held in Barcelona from November 4 to 13.

“Coldness” won the best director award for Bahram and Bahman Ark in the official competition. The film also brought the Ark brothers and Ali Moslemi the Young Jury award for best screenwriter.

Director/writer Puria Azarbaijani received best screenwriter award in the Panorama section for “Tajrish… an Unfinished Story”.

“The Throne” by Lee Joon-ik from South Korea won the award for best film in this section while “Mina Walking” by Yusef Afghan Barak from Afghanistan was crowned best film in the official section.
