Iranian master of calligraphy Ali Shirazi displaying works in Istanbul

TEHRAN – Istanbul’s Abaci Art Gallery is playing host to an exhibition of calligraphy paintings by Iranian master of calligraphy Ali Shirazi.

The exhibition, which opened on November 1, was warmly received by the art enthusiasts on the opening day, the gallery announced in a press release published on Monday.

The director of the gallery Omer Abaci has called it a great pleasure to be displaying works by master Shirazi.

Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Istanbul Abdorreza Rashed, in his interview with several Turkish TV channels, called the exhibit a good opportunity for increased bilateral exchange.

A selection of 11 large artworks have been put on display until November 10.
