Salute to my Iranian friends. You have taught every kabaddi player a lesson that kabaddi as a game needs to evolve, a new terminology "Iranian Defence" should be added in the guide books of kabaddi. Its a treat watching you guys play. You guys are just mercurial, have excellent temperament, attitude and playing style. Whatever be the result, your players are true champions. Lots of love and respect from India.

Kabbadi is a Indian village sport. We are happy that India became WC Champion BUT we're surprised the way foreign teams adapted the Indian game in such a way, as if they're very familiar with Kabbadi for a long long time. Overall, Iran is the best. Becoming Runners-Up is not a big issue but the way they played....their defensive strategy, blocking power, counter attack is marvellous. I think Indo-Iran Kabaddi Test should be introduced by both countries, it'll benefit both the teams and Iranian players can participate in our Pro-Kabbadi league. I hope Iran will introduce a Pro-Kabbadi league. Best Wishes to both the teams and expect more kabbadi actions from Iran & India.
