TEHRAN -- Mess-Negar Gallery plans to put on display a collection of embossing works by some Iranian masters of this form of art in an exhibition, which will open on Friday.

Works by Mansur Hafezparast, Akbar Bozorgian, Reza Qaderan, Majid Bahramipur, Mohammad-Mehdi Babakhani, Mostafa Mirfakhrai, Mohammad Heidari and Mostafa Noruzi have been selected for the exhibition, which will run for three weeks, the manager of the gallery, Mohammad-Hassan Golchinpur, said in a press release on Sunday.

The exhibition has been organized to promote the younger generation of artists in this field, he added.

A collection by about 20 young artists, including Sadaf Mirfakhrai, Reza Abedi, Kamal Lotfi and Omid Saei, will also be showcased at the exhibit.

“Artists have stimulated great development of this art form over the past two decades,” said Golchinpur whose gallery is dedicated to indigenous Iranian arts.

“The development has increased the younger generation’s motivation for staying in this field,” he noted.

The gallery is located at No. 5 in the Park Prince Building on Molla Sadra Highway.
