What’s in Tehran art galleries

* Photos by Bijan Roghanchi will be showcased in an exhibition at Shirin Gallery from October 6 to 15.

Photos from his series “Becoming Iranian” have been selected for the show, during which a book with the same title will be unveiled.

The gallery is located at No. 5, 13th St., Karim Khan Ave.


Collage 

* Seyhun Gallery is displaying a collection of collages by Majid Asgari in an exhibition entitled “Factory”.

The exhibit runs until October 5 at the gallery, which can be found at 24 Sinai Alley, off Keyhan St., Moqaddas Ardebili Ave.


Calligraphic painting

* Vaali Gallery is playing host to an exhibition of calligraphic paintings by Ahmad Tak.

The exhibition titled “The Third Script” will continue until October 7 at the gallery located at 71 Khoddami St. off Vanak Square.


Painting

* Paintings by Soheila Tamjidi on women are being shown in an exhibition at Mojdeh Gallery. 

Works from her collection “Women in the Mirror of Imagination” have been chosen for the exhibition, which runs until October 3 at the gallery located at 27 North Allameh Blvd., in the Saadatabad neighborhood.

* Naqsh-e Jahan Gallery is currently displaying paintings by Mansureh Valikhan in an exhibition, which will run until September 28. 

The gallery is located at 9 Ayatollah Mahmudi St. in the Niavaran neighborhood.
