French economic delegation to visit Iran in Oct.
TEHRAN - A 13-member French trade delegation including members of Pays de La Loire Chamber of Commerce will visit Tehran on October 6.
According to Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture website, the French delegation is scheduled to meet and negotiate with Iranian businessmen and traders.
Representatives of several companies in various fields including ICT, architecture, livestock and poultry, hydraulics, sports, transportation, aviation, and medicine will be accompanying the French group.
On January 28, Iran and France signed a series of basic trade deals estimated to be worth billions of dollars during the historic visit to Paris by the Iranian president.
Rouhani and his French counterpart, Francois Hollande, oversaw the signing of the agreements, which concerned cooperation in different economic sectors such as aviation, car manufacturing and oil, among others.
On September 6, Rouhani called for a full and swift implementation of agreements reached between Tehran and Paris during his visit to France.
He made the remarks in a meeting with visiting President of the French National Assembly Claude Bartolone in Tehran.
Rouhani said the implementation of the mutual documents would lead to a tangible change in bilateral relations in such areas as politics, economy, culture and science, Press TV reported.
