Khosrotaj appointed new head of TPO

TEHRAN – Iranian Industry, Mining and Trade Minister Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh appointed Mojtaba Khosrotaj as the new head of the Trade Promotion Organization (TPO), Mehr news agency reported on Wednesday.

Khosrotaj has previously served as the deputy industry minister for economic and trade affairs and the government’s representative to the boards of Iran and Tehran chambers of commerce, industries, mines and agriculture.

He was also the spokesman for the ministry and during the Iranian calendar year 1376 (March 1997- March 1998) he served as the managing director of Export Promotion Center of Iran.

Nematzadeh also appointed Valiolah Afkhamirad, the former head of TPO, as his advisor.
