Imports of U.S. from Iran stands at $36.9m in H1

TEHRAN- The imports of the U.S from Iran in the first half of 2016 was $36.9 million, while the figure was equal to zero in the first six months of 2015, Tasnim news agency reported on Friday.
Iran-U.S. trade value stood at over $140.8 million from January to June in 2015, however, experiencing a 22 percent decline, the number dropped to $108.8 million in the corresponding period in 2016.
In the first half of the current year, the U.S. exported $71.9 million of goods to the Islamic Republic, the report said, showing 49 percent drop from its previous level of $140.8 million in the first half of 2015.
