Tehran, Baku stress boosting economic co-op

TEHRAN - Iran and Azerbaijan officials stressed enhancement of economic cooperation between the two countries, Shana reported on Wednesday.
According to Shana, Iranian Communications and Information Technology Minister Mahmoud Vaezi and Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev met on Tuesday and explored political and economic issues related to Iran-Azerbaijan relation.
In the event, two sides also discussed the prospects of cooperation in the fields of oil and gas, transport, investment, finance, banking, agriculture, tourism and health as well as Caspian Sea cooperation.
Vaezi arrived in Baku heading a high ranking delegation on Monday to make preparations for president Rouhani’s visit to Azerbaijan.
