TEHRAN – Saeed Mortazavi, the former chief prosecutor of Tehran, will stand trial on September 4, Judiciary spokesman Qolamhossein Mohseni Ejei told a press conference on Sunday, Nasim reported.

In another part of his speech, Ejei said General Inspection Office chief Nasser Seraj has recently written a letter to President Hassan Rouhani asking him for the formation of a new board of trustees for the National Development Fund as former members resigned following a financial scandal.
