TEHRAN – The Iranian Foreign Ministry on Monday welcomed Kazakhstan for winning a seat at the UN Security Council.

Given its capacities, Kazakhstan can play a positive role at the UN Security Council under the present circumstances that the global scene is facing, ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi said on Monday, IRNA reported.
