TEHRAN – Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati and the state secretary of Germany’s Federal Foreign Office, Markus Ederer, met in Tehran Tuesday.

Speaking at the meeting, Jannati said that the two countries should fulfill their high potentials for cultural and artistic cooperation. 

Pointing to the long history of ties between the two nations, Ederer also expressed his willingness to negotiate a comprehensive memorandum of understanding on cultural collaboration.

Ederer arrived in Tehran to hold talks with senior Iranian officials on the latest bilateral, regional and international topics.
