TEHRAN – In a meeting in Damascus on Sunday, the chairman of the Iranian Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad held talks on bilateral ties and the latest developments in the region and the world.

 

Boroujerdi, at the head of a parliamentary delegation, arrived in Damascus on Saturday to pay a two-day visit to Syria with the aim of consolidating relations.
