TEHRAN – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast on Thursday condemned a recent terrorist attack in Turkey, which killed nine people near the Syrian border.
Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi also sent a message to his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu offering condolences to the Turkish nation and government.
The bomb attack in the southern city of Gaziantep on Monday followed an escalation in fighting between Turkish forces and the PKK (the Kurdistan Workers’ Party).
