Shia and Sunnis Perform Unity Prayers in Rezvanshahr

TEHRAN On the auspicious occasion of Unity Week and birthday anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (S), the people of this northern city including followers of both Shia and Sunni sects performed unity prayers. The prayers were led by Mahdi Fazli Torbati attended by mass of Muslim people, clerics, army and law enforcement commanders. Emphasizing on the importance of unity, which was the message of prophets of God, Hojjatoleslam Ali Rastegari, an official in charge of Supreme Leader's representative office, called discord and hypocrisy as the most heinous issues in the world of Islam and that Muslims should be unified through following the Islamic principles.
