Ahmadinejad congratulates Lebanese president on Liberation Day

TEHRAN – In separate messages on Thursday, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad congratulated Lebanese President Michel Suleiman and Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah on the anniversary of the country’s Liberation Day.
 
On May 25, 2000, the Israeli army withdrew from Southern Lebanon after 22 years of occupation.
 
In his messages, Ahmadinejad praised Lebanon’s resistance against the Zionist regime.
