BEIRUT Secretary General of Lebanon's Hizbullah last night called for clarification of the fate of Imam Musa Sadr. In a statement issued here, Nasrullah asked the Lebanese government to employ all its political, diplomatic and publicity means in its relations with the Arab and other states to clarify Imam Musa Sadr's fate. The statement referring to the last month's conference held in the Iranian city of Qom on the personality of Imam Musa Sadr, said that cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Lebanon to find out his fate was important.

Imam Musa Sadr, the former speaker of the Lebanese Supreme Shia Assembly, disappeared on his way from Libya to Italy after attending the celebrations marking the anniversary of the Libyan Revolution in September 1978. (IRNA)
