TEHRAN – The Persian Gulf island of Qeshm will host the first bloggers’ travel writing festival from April 25 to 29.

The event is co-organized by Iran Federation of Tourist Guide Associations and Qeshm Free Zone Organization.

Bloggers who write travel diaries and travelogues can apply for the festival until April 8 and the jury will select 35 bloggers to attend the event.

The winners will be announced during the closing ceremony on April 29, which marks Iran’s Persian Gulf National Day.

Qeshm is the biggest Iranian island in the Persian Gulf near the Strait of Hormuz.
