Fordow centrifuges lowered to 1044 in number: MP

TEHRAN - The head of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee has said Iran has reduced the number of centrifuges in Fordow to 1044.
Alaeddin Boroujerdi stated 6 chains of centrifuges remain, adding that the Arak reactor core is still in place, Mehr reported on Tuesday.Also, Aliasghar Zarean, the deputy chief of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), said Iran will sell 40 tons of heavy water via third party to the U.S.
Zarean underlined that Iran will join the consortium for strategic nuclear material producers.
On the same day, AEOI spokesman Behrooz Kamalvandi said in recent days many inspectors from the IAEA have traveled to Iran to ensure Iran’s abidance to the JCPOA commitments.
