TEHRAN - A senior cleric has warned that enemies of Islam are trying to make religious rituals lack real content.

Ayatollah Mohammad Yazdi, dean of the Qom Seminary Teachers Society, stressed that eulogies must address the fundamental objective of introducing Islamic concepts, IRNA reported on Sunday.
Some people, either ignorantly or otherwise, put preaching and education aside, and this is a fact that scholars should fight, noted Ayatollah Yazdi who is also the chairman of the Assembly of Experts.
