TEHRAN – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi has said that crisis in Syria will not be settled if all the countries do not make collective efforts to fight terrorism.

During a meeting with Czech Deputy Foreign Minister Martin Tlapa, the officials discussed terrorism and the Syrian conflict, ISNA reported on Tuesday.

The Iranian and Czech officials also discussed expansion of economic and parliamentary ties.

Tlapa, for his part, said that the crisis in Syria cannot be resolved through military solution.

The Syrian war can only be settled politically, Tlapa added.
