Health Ministry to unveil new medicines in February

TEHRAN - Head of Iran’s Food and Drug Organization said on Friday that some domestically produced medicines will be unveiled during the Ten-Day Dawn(February 1-11, marking the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution).
Rasoul Dinarvand told the Mehr news agency that many medicines, for which licenses have been issued, will be unveiled soon and those who have been active in manufacturing them will be honored.Dinarvand also said that there are some monoclonal antibodies among the drugs, which saves the country about tens of millions of dollars.
Also a new medicine for the treatment of Hepatitis C has been manufactured, which is to replace the ones which have failed so far, Dinarvand concluded.
