Iranian athletes snatch medals at IPC Athletics World Championships

Four Iranian athletes claimed three silver medals and one bronze at the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships in Doha, Qatar.

Sajad Mohammadian won a silver medal in the Men’s Shot Put F42 with a throw of 14.54 in the event underway in Doha, Qatar.

Aled Davies threw a new championship record (14.95) to win Britain’s first gold on day one.

Bronze medal went to Germany’s Frank Tinnemeier with 14.33.

In the Men’s Discus Throw F56, Ali Mohammadyari snatched a silver medal with 44.97.

Gold medal went to Leonardo Diaz from Cuba with 45.10 and Vietnamese Hau Nguyen Be won the bronze medal with 38.94.

Saman Pakbaz won a silver medal in the men’s shot put with a throw of 15.19m.

Ukraine’s Roman Danyliuk won a gold medal with 16.64m.

Bronze medal went to Spain’s Kim Lopez Gonzalez (15.03m).

Also, Iran’s Mohsen Kaedi won the bronze medal in the men’s javelin F34 with 32.26m.

China’s Yanzhang Wang claimed the gold medal, throwing 38.05m.
