TEHRAN - Gholamali Khoshroo, the Iranian envoy to the UN, has said that increase in the number of foreign terrorists is a matter of concern for the Non-Aligned Movement and this should be countered by the governments seriously.
“The inhumane acts of the occupiers should be condemned as the worst form of terrorism. Use of force by the occupying regimes against people’s liberal struggles in line with their undeniable rights should be condemned,” Khoshroo said in a meeting of the UN General Assembly’s legal committee on Monday.
NAM considers all the terrorist actions a violation of the international law and strongly condemns them, he added.
Khoshroo, whose country currently holds the rotating presidency of NAM, called on all the countries to avoid providing political and financial help to terrorists.
It is essential for all governments to meet their legal and international duties in countering terrorism, he noted.
