TEHRAN - Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham has urged investigation by the UN and other international bodies into numerous instances of violation of human rights by Saudi Arabia in Yemen.

“The constant attacks on the residential areas and non-military targets as well as preventing the access by the UN and other concerned international bodies in helping the affected people is violation of principles of human rights,” Afkham said in reaction to the Saudi regime’s aggression against Yemen.

The spokeswoman strongly condemned the airstrikes by the Saudi-led coalition on the al-Mokha Taez region which resulted in death and injury of tens of innocent Yemeni civilians, including women and children, IRNA reported Tuesday.
