‘Iran plans to build drones with S. Africa, Kazakhstan, and Russia’

TEHRAN - An official has said Iran plans to jointly produce drones with the three countries of South Africa, Kazakhstan, and Russia.

Manuchehr Manteqi, an official at the Science and Technology Department, said the recent talks have paved the way for technology transfer from these three countries, Tasnim reported Wednesday.

He said Iran is also going to help Russia and the Czech Republic in drone repair and maintenance.

Manteqi added Iranian companies have made agreements with companies from Russia, Belarus, France, Germany, and the Czech Republic for the acquirement of drone parts.
