TEHRAN -- Iranian singer Kamran Rasulzadeh accompanied by Turkish vocalist Murat Kekilli will give a joint concert in Istanbul on August 21.
The performance is part of program entitled “Persian Night”, which will be held at the Halic Congress Center in Istanbul, Rasulzadeh said in a press conference at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall on Saturday.Kekilli and Rasulzadeh will perform two pieces jointly and then each will give their own performances during the program, the coordinator of Rasulzadeh’s performance, Arman Mehraban, said at the conference.
He added that he has prepared the musical score for each member and hoped that the band will make its best efforts to give a good performance.
Rasulzadeh called Kekilli a fine, committed singer and added that he had tried to arrange the joint concert in Tehran twice over the past few years, however, the concerts were canceled for reasons unknown.
“Based on a signed agreement, we will possess the copyrights to distribute the video of the concert, and we are planning to film and release the concert here in Iran,” he explained.
Rasulzadeh has performed “Bu Aksam Olurum” (Tonight I Will Die) with Kekilli a few years ago.
