Director of Russia’s Intl. Book Exhibitions and Fairs to visit Tehran next week

TEHRAN – The general director of Russia’s International Book Exhibitions and Fairs, Sergey Kaykin, will arrive in Tehran on July 4 to hold talks about Iran’s participation in the fair as the special guest.

“We will also discuss different issues such as the size of Iran’s pavilion in the fair,” Iran Cultural Fairs Institute (ICFI) director Amir-Masud Shahramnia informed the Persian service of MNA on Sunday.

About 18 Iranian publications and institutes have announced readiness to attend the fair, he said, adding that several more publishers and institutes are going to be invited.

Shahramnia who is also the deputy director of the Tehran Book Fair added that the books published in Russian language have also been collected to go on display at the Moscow fair, which will be running from September 2 to 6, 2015.

He also talked about Iran’s participation in the Frankfurt Book Fair that will take place from 14-18 October 2015, and said that Iran’s Cultural Office in Germany together with several Iranian publishers will participate in the fair and display books in a national pavilion.
