TEHRAN – Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi has called for the closure of Wahhabi schools, counting them responsible for anti-Shia acts in Saudi Arabia.

“All this comes from your Wahhabism. Close the wicked schools, because they propagate wicked teachings,” Makarem Shirazi said Sunday, the Fars news agency reported.

Takfiri Wahhabists blasted a bomb among prayers in the Ali ibn Abitalib Mosque in Saudi Arabia on Friday which killed and wounded around 100 people, the ayatollah pointed out.
