TEHRAN – The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) commander says all have reached to the conclusion that “military-security threats” against the Islamic Revolution have become meaningless and this is a great achievement.

“Due to the blessings of the blood of martyrs an acceptable security has been achieved and [today] we can claim that we have left behind military and security threats,” Mohammad Ali Jafari stated in a seminar on Monday.

The top military official also said the Yemeni people’s resistance against hegemony is a “new achievement” of the Islamic Revolution.

Thanks to the Iranian people’s resistance, Islamic awakening and resistance have spread to various countries, he stated.

He went on to say that resistance against arrogance is a characteristic of the Islamic Revolution which has led to its promotion outside the country.

Jafari also highlighted the necessity of paying attention to national characteristics of the Islamic Revolution.

People from various walks of life have responsibility toward the Islamic Revolution and should be concerned about the issue, he added.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the major general stated that the IRGC helps to protect and promote the ideals of the Islamic Revolution.
