Department of Environment to monitor radio jamming

TEHRAN – Iran’s Department of Environment has said that it is going to acquire special monitoring devices to monitor radio jamming in the country.
Masoumeh Ebtekar, the Department of Environment chief, said that a meeting is going to be held between her and ICT Minister Mahmoud Vaezi on coordinating further actions, hoping that the ICT Ministry would conduct necessary cooperation.
Radio jamming has been a frequent case in Iran for a few years.
Numerous entities, the Department of Environment in particular, have expressed concern regarding the health hazards of radio jamming.
