TEHRAN -- Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Organization (CHTHO) will be holding an exhibition of Persian handicrafts in China in September.

The exhibit is arranged for Iranian artisans to display their products, CHTHO official Ahmad Balan told the Persian service of IRNA.
Miniature, embossing, glass painting and jewelry are among the handicrafts selected for the show.
Foreign Ministry is due to take charge of the expenses to dispatch the artisans to the exhibit, he added.
Balan also said that the Handicrafts Department of CHTHO has plans to design and weave a carpet on which specific cultures of both countries will be portrayed.
