TEHRAN – The Islamic Revolution in Iran has served as a model for people in certain Arab nations in their uprisings against their dictatorial leaders, said Ali Feisal, a representative of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

Feisal made the remarks in a meeting with Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon Qazanfar Roknabadi.
“Following the model of public uprising in Iran and the Islamic revolution, Arab nations have risen up (against their governments). Certainly such developments will undermine U.S. supporters in the region,” Feisal stated.
He went on to say that an opportunity has been provided for Palestinians to restore their national unity and rise up against the Zionist regime.
This way resistance against the regime will be guaranteed, he said, adding there will be a chance to sue the Zionist regime through the UN and other international institutions.
Feisal also thanked Iran for supporting Palestinians in the face of crimes committed by the Zionist regime
