TEHRAN – Iran exported over $513 million worth of non-oil goods to Pakistan in 2010, an official with the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran said here on Monday.
IRNA quoted Amir Talebi as saying that, “the amount shows 30 percent increase in comparison to 2009.”Iran also imported $360 million worth of goods from Pakistan in 2010 which is equivalent to the country’s imports from the neighboring country in 2009.
An increase in the number of items in the two countries’ preferential trade list and holding joint trade committees are the two major reasons for the 30-percent rise in Iran’s exports to Pakistan.
