Iranian traditional handicrafts exhibit underway in Tehran

TEHRAN -- An exhibition displaying traditional Iranian handicrafts is currently underway at the Khanat Caravansary, a Qajar monument in southern Tehran.
155 artists from different provinces are offering their products in 130 stands, 60 of which are dedicated to live production of handicrafts by artists from all over Iran.The exhibit is hosting performances of regional music and movies on handicrafts are being screened on the sidelines of the event.
The handicrafts are offered at a 30% discount from handicrafts shops during the exhibit, the deputy for Traditional Art and Handicraft at the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Organization Tahmineh Daniali previously mentioned in a press conference.
The exhibit will run until June 13 at the caravansary located at Amin us-Sultan Sq., Saheb-Jam St., near Molavi crossroad.
