Iran's Pavilions at Malaysian Exhibit Ranks First

KUALA LUMPUR Iran's pavilions at Malaysian international trade exhibition ranked first, it was announced here Thursday. A number of companies from Iran, India, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sudan, Maghreb and Malaysia are taking part in the 10-day exhibition which opened in the city of Shah Alam, the capital of Selangor state, Wednesday. Wooden handicrafts, furniture, ceramics, glass products, foodstuff, dried fruits and carpets are among major items on display at the Iranian pavilions.

Officials in charge of Iranian pavilions told IRNA that Iran's participation in international exhibitions will pave the way for introducing the country's trade potentials and will lead to further expansion of non-oil exports. (IRNA)
