Iran, UAE sign 5 cooperation agreements

TEHRAN – Iran and the United Arab Emirates have signed five cooperation agreements and discussed ways to boost trade exchange up to $16 billion.

The agreements were signed during a meeting between Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and the visiting UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdallah Bin Zayid Al Nahyan in Tehran on Tuesday.
The agreements include cooperation in the extradition of criminals, judicial affairs and so forth.
Iran and the UAE had earlier signed an agreement to establish a joint cooperation committee.
The two countries’ joint committees for consular affairs and coast guards also held a meeting on Tuesday
