Iran copper exports rising

TEHRAN – Copper exports by the National Iranian Copper Industries Company in the five months period ending August 22 reached 202,567 tons, worth $348 million.

The Mehr News Agency quoted Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) stating that cathode copper in the mentioned period reached 87,103 tons, 6 percent more than the same period of the year before. This is 1 percent higher than planned.
Anode copper production also showed a 7 percent increase in comparison to the past period reaching 108,604
