25% increase in Iran Aluminum output

TEHRAN – The total aluminum production in the first four month of the Iranian calendar (ending July 22) reached 96,555 tons showing a 25 percent increase compared to the same period the year before.

This increase is 2 percent more than the figure foreseen for the period this year.
Mehr News Agency quoted Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) stating that the volume of aluminum produced in Iralco and Al-Mahdi aluminum companies in the Iranian calendar month of Tir (June 21- July 22) reached 24,247 tons which shows a 26 percent increase in comparison to the same period previous year.
Aluminum exportation from Iran in the first four month of the Iranian calendar year hit 51,976 tons in total which shows a 21 percent growth in volume compared to the year before
