MANILA - Iranian wrestling team claimed the 2009 Asian Juniors Wrestling Championship title at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City, Manila, Philippine, on Sunday.

Iran won the championship with 66 points, followed by Kazakhstan (61 points) and India (60 points) respectively.
Iran seized three gold medals by Mostafa Hosseinkhani in 66 kg category, Alireza Ghasemi in 74 kg and Erfan Amiri in 96 kg.
Iran also won four bronzes by Sina Amiri in 55 kg , Mohammad Yusefi in 60 kg, Hassan Rahimi in 84 kg and Hamid Rezaei in 120 kg.
Iran had already won the title of the Asian Juniors Wrestling Championships in Greco-Roman in the event
