TEHRAN -- Iranian photojournalist Ahmad Motalaei has been invited to Fotofestiwal 2009, a Polish international festival of photography, currently underway in Lodz.

A collection of photos by Motalaei will be put on display on the sidelines of the festival, which will run until May 31, he informed the Tehran Times on Saturday.
Social issues are the central theme of the photos taken over the past 14 years.
Entitled “Tickle Attack,” this year’s festival has focused on jokes, the absurd, and issues of irony.
Tickle Attack is a series of exhibitions held across Europe from September 2008 to May 2009.
