QESHM – Korean investors have stated their readiness to invest in Qeshm’s oil, gas, and energy projects, Qeshm Free Trade Zone Manager Mohammad Asghari said here on Thursday.

The Mehr News Agency quoted Asghari as saying, “During the meeting with South Korean ambassador to Tehran, Kim Young-Moke, he pointed out that Korean investors are eager to invest in Qeshm Island’s oil and gas projects.”
“We plan to provide special facilities to accelerate the Korean companies’ investment in Qeshm,” he added.
“Foreign investors have shown great interest to invest in Qeshm Island and we predict that due to the continuation of the global economic recession, Qeshm will host more foreign investors.
