Gonbad-e Sabz to Become Garden-Museum

TEHRAN Qom Province's Cultural Heritage Organization announced that a historical monument called Gonbad-e Sabz (The Green Tomb) in the city of Qom will be developed into a garden-museum in the near future. The Green Tomb comprises three towers and a mausoleum which dates back to Ilkhanid reign. The tomb is adjacent to the martyrs cemetery of Qom. In an interview with daily Hamshahri, Kazem Arab, the chairman of Qom Province Cultural Heritage Organization said that some 550 million rials has been paid by the organization to take the possession of the tomb.
