Iran’s 5th exclusive exhibition kicks off in Kyrgyzstan

BISHKEK – Iran’s fifth solo exhibition was inaugurated in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan capitalq, on Monday.

The five-day event displays achievements and products of 36 Iranian companies active in the fields of textile, foodstuff, cosmetics, agriculture, wood industry, and technical-engineering services, IRINN reported.
In the opening ceremony of the expo, Mohammadreza Saburi, Iran’s ambassador to Bishkek and Sanjar Mukanbetov, Kyrgyz economic development and trade deputy minister delivered speeches on their countries’ potentials for promotion of trade ties.
------ Tehran to host 8th Paints, Resins, and Industrial Coatings intl. fair
TEHRAN – The Eighth International Exhibition on paints, resins, industrial coatings, and composites will be opened on December 18 at Tehran Permanent International Fairground, IRNA reported on Monday.
“Some seminars and workshops will also be held during the four-day expo. Nano-tech products have been focused on in this year’s exhibition,” said the project manager of the showcase Mahshid Monfared.
------ Tehran, Jakarta consider direct flights
TEHRAN – In the 10th Iran-Indonesia Joint Commission, the two sides made a preliminary agreement for launching Tehran-Jakarta direct flights, Fars News Agency reported.
Once the agreement is approved by the two sides’ governments, the initiative will be put into effect.
------ Tehran’s first hand-woven carpet festival opens
TEHRAN – Tehran’s first hand-woven carpet festival kicked off here on Monday.
According to ISNA, the head of the Commerce Organization of Tehran announced that the aim behind the 5-day festival is to display Tehran’s capabilities in the carpet sector and its exports in this field.
