UAE prioritizes relations with Iran: minister

TEHRAN -- Justice Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Hadef bin Juaan al-Dhaheri, has said that strengthening ties with Iran is a policy priority of his country.

In a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Abu Dhabi Hamid-Reza Asefi, al-Dhaheri said that three judicial agreements will be signed between the two countries soon, the press department of Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a report released on Sunday.
He also noted that the Iranian community who live in the UAE is among the most distinguished groups. He said the small number of Iranian prisoners in the UAE indicates the health of Iranian society.
Asefi called for more acceleration in reviewing the dossiers of the Iranians charged in the UAE and asked for reducing the sentences of those who have been detained for carrying medicine into the country
