Ex-nuclear negotiator Musavian hospitalized: lawyer

TEHRAN - Former Iranian nuclear negotiator Hossein Musavian has been hospitalized for heart problems, his lawyer Hushang Purbabaii said on Friday.
“One of Musavian’s main heart arteries has been severely blocked by 60 percent and another heart artery by 40 percent,” Purbabaii told the Mehr News Agency.“Therefore he is in intensive care,” he added.
Musavian, initially charged with “nuclear espionage”, was given a two-year suspended prison term and banned from holding posts in diplomacy or foreign policy for the next five years.
However, the court has acquitted him of “spy charges.
