Iran, Japan Underline Trade Cooperation

TEHRAN Japanese Ambassador to Iran, Takaya Suto, and Secretary General of Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines (ICCIM), Govahi, here yesterday reviewed the two countries trade and economic cooperation. Govahi told Suto that Japan can extend widespread cooperation with all the Iranian companies in small and medium-scale industries. Underlining the role of JETRO office in Iran in terms of consulting affairs between the two countries, Govahi said ICCIM can be a center for industrial and trade cooperation between the two countries.
Terming Iran as Japan's biggest trade partner in the region, Japanese Ambassador told Govahi that Japan has always tried to keep this position. Talking on cooperation of the Japanese KNN institute, Suto said the institute is active in carrying out industrial and trade projects and noted, " It is better that we start cooperation between the two countries chambers of commerce in small and medium-scale industries".
