TEHRAN -- Kermanshah Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department (KCHTHD) and the National Museum of Iran in a collaborative effort plan to establish a museum for Paleolithic objects in the city of Kermanshah, western Iran.

The museum will be set up in Khadiri House, a historical edifice, which was previously used by the Kermanshah Artists Forum.
“The interior design of the museum has been completed and showcases are currently being installed,” KCHTHD official Alireza Moradi said on Monday.
“The museum will be home to artifacts discovered at Paleolithic sites in Kermanshah and Ilam provinces,” he added.
It will be displaying a set of moulages made in France and also a number of photos depicting the process of the evolution of primitive man, Moradi explained.
It is planned that the museum will be open to the public at Noruz, the Iranian New Year holidays, beginning March 20.
