TEHRAN -- Iranian photographer Mojtaba Bahadori has won top prize in the analogue photography section at this year’s Ibda’a Media Student Awards in Dubai.

Bahadori, who is currently studying the art of cinema at the University of Tehran, was awarded during a ceremony at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on December 29th.
“My photos are on the theme of anthropology and depict the local people of a southern Iranian port in the province of Bushehr,” Bahadori told the Mehr News Agency on Saturday.
Besides a cash prize, Bahadori was also awarded an internship with Motivate Publishing, the Persian Gulf’s leading publisher of magazines and books.
The event is organized annually by Dubai Media City in association with the International Advertising Association (IAA).
