Beizaii’s play “Killing Sohrab” published

TEHRAN –- The latest play by Iranian stage and screen director Bahram Beizaii entitled “Killing Sohrab” has been recently published by Roshangaran Publications.

Inspired by Ferdowsi’s “Rustam and Sohrab”, the play tells the heartrending story in which Rustam kills Sohrab without knowing that he is his son.
------Chalipa museum of teahouse painting to open in Tehran
TEHRAN -- A museum to house the artworks of Chalipa will be inaugurated on February 9 in Tehran in commemoration of the first death anniversary of the master of teahouse painting Hassan Esmaeilzadeh (also known as Chalipa).
Managed by his son Kazem Chalipa, the museum will house about 80 works of the late teahouse painter.
The venue is located on No.1250, adjacent to Sorush Publications, Enqelab Ave.
------Ashura Rites Meeting to be held in Tabriz
TEHRAN –- The fourth edition of the Ashura Rites Meeting will be held in Tabriz from January 25 until 30.
30 provinces will participate in the event which is to commemorate the tenth of the month of Muharram, which marks the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and 72 of his loyal companions..
